Zack James

Zack James is a passionate advocate for equity in entrepreneurship. He has spent much of his career supporting minority small business owners to realize their professional goals.  A dot-connector, problem solver and marketing strategist, Zack is passionate about people-first business initiatives.

 

He is no stranger to DEI and the specific challenges that face Black, Indigenous & People of Color (BIPOC). He is the Co-Founder of Minority Alumni Coalition at Temple’s School of Sport, Tourism & Hospitality management, a founding member of Grandma’s Hands, and a Board Member of Big Brothers Big Sisters.  The Temple University graduate is a 12-year veteran of the Sports & Entertainment industry including a 6 year career with the New Jersey/Brooklyn Nets.

 

He has been a valuable member of the Demystifying Diversity Team since the project’s inception. During Season One, he worked behind the scenes,  providing marketing, content creation and strategic planning for the platform and its growth. As the DDP continues to grow in scope and substance, he is excited to take a more forward-facing role and to be an equal partner in the development of all DDP initiatives!
